The Current Cycle Cruisers are carefully assembled on existing frames with high quality motors and controllers. Compared to most others, this bike is very powerful (capable of 35 mph!) It can be ridden without pedaling should you choose, and will pull hills far better than most electric bikes. This is NOT your average electric bike!

• Classic and stylish aluminum cruiser frame with upright riding position and comfort seat
• Current Cycle Bikes designed battery mount (better handling, lower center of gravity)
• Custom wiring: Much time and attention is paid to a neat installation, and a clean look. No wires hanging all over your bike! No rattles. These bikes are very solid feeling and very quiet to ride.
• Crystalite Phoenix 48 Volt, 40 amp power system using four 12 volt SLA batteries.* Recharges in 1-4 hours (includes charger) You won’t believe the power until you ride one!
• Durable brushless hub motor design
• Available in either 7-speed or single speed
• Cruise control available (small extra charge)
• Range: Expect 10-30 miles depending factors such as speed, terrain, amount of pedaling, tire pressure, etc.
• Top speed is 35 mph, and indication of it’s useful power, giving you pedal-free riding + plus excellent hill-climbing ability.
*Note: Sealed lead acid batteries, though not high-tech are simple, low-cost, reliable, low maintenance and inexpensive to replace. An optional Lithium Ion battery will be available soon as a direct plug-in replacement.

Lower cost options are available (if we have the time!) starting as low as approximately $1,200- plus shipping and handling. This price is for the basic 36 volt Roadrunner (17mph) front drive kit installed on one of our bikes. When the bike arrives, all you need to do is assemble a few simple things and ride! (instructions included)

In our area, kits can be installed for $175- plus the price of the kit. Schedule an appointment by email, drop off your bike, ride away.
